“Education is the most powerful weapon which
you can use to change the world.” These are words of Nelson Mandela, which
truly reflects the importance and the relevance of Quality Education System
that the nation yarns for.
Looking at the
present scenario, where new challenges are faced every day, it has become
necessary to prepare the students for a highly demanding environment. In order
to confront these challenges one should first understand the intricacies that
are related to the present education system and the problems faced by it. The Education in republic of India is provided
by both private and public sector, which gets all the funds from three levels
ie. central, state and local. It is a
known fact that there has always been a huge gap between them, since the
quality of education, the fee structure, infrastructure and the teachers or the
instructors differ in both public and private schools. The ground reality of
our education system is completely different then what we actually think about
it. We all want to get best employment opportunities with pay in six figure, but
have we ever realized the fundamental problems in our education system? And what are the key factors that leave you
lagging behind in this competitive market??
India has the second largest higher education network in the world.
The education system in India in a way only
promotes textual knowledge rather than focusing in skill based educational
module. This doesn’t develop any analytical skills in the students, which is
needed to face the real world competition. Scoring 90 out of 100 is not the
solution and judging the child based on the scores he/she has earned in the
examination doesn’t make him/her intelligent. Hence, it is time to change our
education system. There is no easy way out to bring such change. We need some
strict policy or act to bring significant improvements to see India shine !!!!
